(Spoiler-proof)

This spectacularly written work of the Brazilian writer, Paulo Coelho features a young boy named Santiago who is a shepherd in a small village. He dreams about finding the Egyptian treasure in the desert which makes him immensely rich. And he sets off! Just like that! Leaving behind his village and his job to follow his dream which he believed in! He is challenged everytime he tries to take a step forward. He is challenged constantly by threats and obstructions that derail him. But he knows, when someone wants something from his heart the entire universe conspires to aid him. Eventually the lad finds it easy to fight against the barriers with determination, confidence, and a little help from a guide he found in 'The Alchemist'.

If you're a reader of optimistic and positive mind-engaging stories, this book should probably be your gear. The 150 page novel is a brilliant optimistic compilation written in very simple terms that directly meet the attention of even the most novice reader, reaching with every lap and every page the most important lessons of life, the meaning of struggle, determination and conflict, the omens of the universe and what we learn from them, and how to never give up. It's a life changing subject portrayed, in one word, enthusiastically. You should read this book at least once in your lifetime! Recommended for the followers of every genre.
